Travel Operations & Automation Platform
A large operations platform connecting travel products, departures, reservations, passengers, finance, customer communication, portals, and partner systems.
The challenge
Operational changes crossed several applications and business boundaries at once. New automation had to preserve established travel and accounting rules, remain observable, and evolve safely inside a mature platform.
What I contributed
- 01
Built reliable pre-travel communication workflows with scheduling, delivery state, retries, audit history, preview, and safe test delivery.

Delivered guide-expense and receipt workflows across portal UI, application services, persistence, invoice review, and archival.
- 03
Extended OCR-assisted invoice processing and accounting integrations for currencies, tax handling, validation, and cancellation paths.

Improved booking and departure behavior including room pricing, passenger pricing, gallery ordering, reports, and publishing state.

Contributed to framework upgrades, asynchronous CQRS paths, identity modernization, regression tests, and restricted MCP access.
Key decisions
Model automation as a lifecycle
Communication state records ownership, attempts, retry eligibility, and uncertain delivery outcomes instead of reducing the workflow to one scheduled job.
Share production rendering
Automatic delivery, previews, and test sends use the same rendering path so operational checks reflect production output.
Keep domain changes end to end
UI, API contracts, domain rules, data migrations, integrations, and regression tests change together when the workflow requires it.
The outcome
The platform gained more reliable customer communication, clearer operational auditability, stronger finance workflows, and a safer path for modern framework and AI-assisted capabilities.
